In London every year there are 1000's of special events from the Car Show to Fashion Week, from the Chrostmas parade to the St. Patricks day party. The world famous "melting pot" that is London Town means there are special events for all sorts of people. Equally there are copious special one off events, this year alone will see American Football, The Tour De France, and the return of the FA Cup Final in London.
This London Events section will feature all sorts of London Events, some quite obscure, some very high profile, some annual and certainly some of the one off special events.
One such very special London event is the treasures of the world's most famous pharaoh. Tutankhamun's tomb was discovered in Egypt in 1922. In 1972, 1.7 million guests visited the London Tutankhamun exhibition. Another is The Tour de France in London

Plans have been confirmed for the 2007 Grand Départ of the Tour de France in London. The historic race attracts the world's best cyclists and spectators will flock to watch the action! This will be a Landmark Event. The route will pass by many of London’s top attractions and iconic landmarks. Opening Ceremony - Friday 6 July. And of course there is always the special London theatre events and this year, thanks to the projected success of two reailty TV shows, Joseph and his Coat With a crash of drums and a flash of light Joseph returns to the West End in his dazzling coat of many colours. In a new staging of the record breaking 1990s London Palladium production Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s family classic is ready to please a whole new generation.
And then there will be Grease, the classic musical returns to the West End, starring the people's favourites from ITV's reality casting show Grease is the Word. After spending a hopelessly devoted summer with new good girl in town Sandy Dumbrowski, too-cool Danny Zuko's world is thrown upside down when she appears at Rydell High on the first day of school. What follows is a rock 'n' roll celebration of growin' up, cruisin' with friends and goin' steady with Danny, Sandy, The T-Birds, The Pink Ladies and unforgettable songs from You're The One That I Want to Summer Nights.
